This always will happen, when you want to replace a) a WHQL certified driver orb) a newer driver by an older one.Solution: Force the installation of the "mod+signed" drivers by using Argh! You'll have to root around a little more at nVidia for the x64 version. This would allow windows to install a driver by its own (no idea which version though).
I just downloaded the nForce 630a Drivers from the nVidia website and will boot into Safe Mode and install them and see if that works.
