Voila! The reason is that iTunes Match doesn't simply replace music already on your iDevice but instead adds music to your device. I see why people are now going to Android and I wish someone would make a product that could compete with the apple stuff (computers not included because we have other I'd like to add that most everything i do on iTunes results in a spinning beachball.
Why can't I just see the list of contacts on my computer screen? This is not a human error on my part. that apple support and the so called "community specialists" tell you to do i finally figured it out.you need to use an apple brand cord. Factory reboots / Back-ups re-installs, deleting current music (*the worst idea it just turns your phone into a Dumb phone).
